Terms of Service
Effective April 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tranzit mobile app and gettranzit.app (together, "Tranzit"). By downloading or using Tranzit, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Who we are
Tranzit is provided by the Tranzit team ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Tranzit on devices you own or control, for personal and family use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms.
What you agree not to do
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the app, except as permitted by law.
- Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense Tranzit.
- Use Tranzit in any way that violates applicable law.
What Tranzit is (and isn't)
Tranzit is a timer that provides progressive audio and visual warnings to help with screen-time transitions. It is a tool, not a replacement for parental judgment, medical advice, behavioral therapy, or any clinical intervention. If you have concerns about your child's development or behavior, please consult a qualified professional.
Purchases
Tranzit is sold through the Apple App Store. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies — please contact Apple directly for refund requests.
Updates and changes
We may release updates, change features, or discontinue parts of Tranzit at any time. We try to make changes that serve our users. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated app.
Disclaimer
Tranzit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tranzit and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the app.
Termination
Sections that should reasonably survive termination — including the disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability — remain in effect after you stop using Tranzit.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of Tranzit after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
